The Contral Ingibitory Effect of Methylamphetamine
Abstract
In the frog, methylamphetamine showed the signs due to the depression of the central nervous system: depressive state and the loss of righting reflex. This effect was contradictory to that in the warm-blooded animal. The duration showing the loss of the fighting reflex was markedly prolonged after treatment with chlorpromaxine and shortened after reserpine. This fact suggests the difference in the nature of action of chlorpromazine and reserpine.
